Our Belief System

As-Salama prescribes to a belief system comprising the following tenets:

• As Allah (God)’s khalifah (steward) on earth, humankind must use wealth responsibly and aid less fortunate others via the obligatory zakat.

• Remembering the certainty of death is advantageous as it should motivate people towards doing amal salih or righteous deeds.

• For those who can afford it, a prime noble undertaking is voluntarily channeling their wealth towards sadaqah.

• As part or a kind of da’wah (preaching), wealth ought to be employed in God and humankind’s broader service by investing in opportunities that make an impact.
